LPGA Tour player's secret to staying calm - suck on a lemon
LPGA Tour player Nanna Koerstz has a novel way to keep calm on the golf course – she sucks a lemon every time her blood starts running hot.
“It’s like taking your senses away from whatever you’re on and thinking about this lemon,” Madsen told Golf Week, “which is really disgusting and not very nice.”
The 24-year-old Dane carries a lemon wedge in her bag for times when the game gets to her after a suggestion from her national team’s mental coach.
