The Macallan Range

James Bond’s favourite tipple. Given the amount that 007  drinks, it’s a wonder he can find the keys to his DB5 let alone enjoy the wonders of the Craigellachie’s finest amber nectar.

Our personal favorite dram from the Highlanders is the 12-Year-old fine oak. It’s Complex with a hint of fruit and heather honey, so easy to drink and a staple of the UG Collective hipflask. Compelling evidence now suggests that this has been responsible for the recent recovery of our very own James Day from a debilitating bout of short-game yips

Making up the clan are the Amber and Gold which slip down into your belly with consummate ease too!

The Gold is Medium sweet, malty and slightly dry. Excellent in a spicy ginger mac served on the rocks with Fever tree ginger beer.

The Amber makes an excellent Rob Roy with Sacred’s English spiced vermouth and orange peel.

As the late Tommy Cooper once said:

“I’m on a whisky diet. I’ve lost three days already.”
