Watch: Tiger plays Bethpage Black practice round, cruises into town in mega yacht
Tiger has arrived at New York’s Bethpage Black and he hasn’t gone unnoticed.
The Big Cat has moored up nearby Long Island in his 6,500 square feet, $20m yacht in preparation for the second major of the year. It’s called ‘privacy’.
Having won the Masters in April for major number 15, Woods will be a forerunner when the best golfers on the planet tackle the notoriously difficult layout. Particularly as he has previous form.
He won his second US Open on the layout in 2002, when he was the only player to finish under par.
Not to rest on his laurels, Tiger was back out inspecting every gradient recently as he prepares to play alongside Open champion Francesco Molinari and US PGA defending champion Brooks Koepka.
