From Ponte Vedra, we follow the coast down to Daytona beforet urning inland. A quick stop in Orlando offers a dose of thrill-seeking at thet heme parks before the journey continues across Florida until we reach Bowling Green, just south of Tampa, for an assault on Streamsong Black.

Designed by Gil Hanse and opened in 2017, this modern links-style course provides a completely different challenge to the Tour stop in the north of the state. Vast fairways, dramatic bunkering and enormous greens reward imagination and creativity as much as precision, with the firm ground encouraging players to use the contours rather than simply firing at flags.

Finally we leave sunny Florida behind — and while the22-hour Greyhound to New York might build character, we’d strongly recommend the plane instead.
