Who's on track to be crowned London's Best Golfer?

Mid season updates from the Urban Underground Society

We’ve reaching the half-way point in the inaugural Underground Society season, so it’s time to check in on the season-long events.

Each of these four events offers a different test of golf - and with each of these formats allowing multiple entries, there’s still plenty of time for new names to make a move.

London’s Best Golfer

The only scratch event in the Underground Society Calendar, with Pine Valley providing a suitably stern test. London’s Best Golfer takes the best two nine hole scores across the season, and JackPopely leads the way with a two-round aggregate of 8 over par, with JayMac and MustangScally floundering nearly 20 shots behind.

Links Master

A handicap content with the best three scores around Royal Dornoch to count, this is a much tighter affair. MustangScally and JackPopely share the lead at 7 over across two rounds, while our very own JCH sets all back at +20.

The Georgia Trophy

Played at a very well known golf course in Georgia, and another event where JackPopely is looking down on the field from top of the leaderboard. With a 1 over score after two rounds, he’s got to be confident, while MustangScally and JayMac have work to do at +10 and +16 respectively.

The Cypress Cup

Three rounds at arguably the best course on the planet, and everything to play for with just three shots separating the top three, all of whom have two rounds logged already. JackPopely leads the way at +2, with JayMac two shots back and JCH sitting just one shot further back.
