Urban Underground Series

October events

The season starts here

The October Swing of the Urban Underground Series features three nine-hole events at courses that showcase the incredible diversity of golf in the USA.

The West Course at Wing Da Foot is a Golden Era classic. Designed by AW Tillinghast and opened for play in 1923, it's a serious test of golf that has hosted the US Open six times, most recently when Bryson DeChambeau won his first Major title in 2020.

Sheep Ranch isn't just located on the other side of the country, it's also at the other end of the golf architecture spectrum. Part of the Bandon Dunes resort on the Oregon coast, Sheep Ranch is a playground for golfers, with no bunkers and virtually no rough, providing the player with endless options.

Our final October event takes place at Tobacco Road in North Carolina. Architect Mike Stranz crafted a modern masterpiece from this Tobacco Farm turned Sand Quarry, with quirks aplenty and green complexes that will test your imagination as much as your short game technique.
